and I don't know how people score those fights for Quartey and Whitaker, they were clear victories in my book, and good ones. He was a special fighter before he got lazy (or when he realized even he could lose - I think his training, motivation, and work ethic after the Trinidad and Mosley I fight really took a turn for the worse but he still made the big fights)

People really hated Oscar back in the day so any "Competitive" fights he was in, people would say so and so got robbed just because of their pure disdain for Oscar they wanted him to lose so badly.

    pretty sad really.

The record books say he beat Whitaker and Quartey. Those same books also say he beat Sturm and lost to Trinidad. The judges don't always get it right.

Of all the fights that really mattered DLH lost. Blame age, stamina or whatever but he did.

Dude, your a DLH fan obviously so whatever I say that's not in line with your opinion won't matter. I will say that in some of his high profile fights he laid a big fat egg. That isn't my opinion, it's a fact. Sorry about that.

fine. But a few posts back you saying "He lost all the fights that mattered" though, is horse****.

and so what I'm a Delahoya fan? That doesn't make me irrational when it comes to discussing him.

I can THink of only 2 eggs he laid...
    Hopkins
    Pacqiuao

those are 2 all time greats & like it or not so is Oscar

& Even though he laid egss against them He still Fought them even though he didn't need too... Not For Money Not For anything other than his own fighters pride

It's easy to be an Undefeated fighter when your not constantly testing yourself fighting the absolute best.:hi:

Ok, he lost most of the fights that mattered. I stand corrected. It's not personal buddy, it's just an opinion that differs from yours. Relax...

Oscar has 6 losses in his career to 5 fighters who all at one point or another were considered p4p #1 in the world. Who could have beaten all of them?
