Why do idiots like this think they can post whatever they want over the Internet? Shame on you.

TBH even if that is the blokes opinion he should show more class than to post it in this thread.

I'm not ignorant nor am I stupid! I was just making a point and stating the facts that there is money available for Jonjo, the NHS is free and that I can't understand how the family needs money so urgently! The details are disconcertingly vague. I care just as much about the well being of other people as any of you. I just can't see why the money raising is necessary. Does his family need it for medical equipment, food, treatment?

I'm sorry that I have offended anyone, but I do have a valid point. The person above is correct and in hindsight I should have not posted my opinion. However, as people have made an issue of it I can only stand by what I wrote. If it causes such offence then please someone feel free to delete it. I thought this was a forum!

Utility bills (gas, electricity, water, telephone, etc) do not pay themselves. When the main breadwinner is seriously ill and debts pile up then it is no easy task, it all starts to snowball. I hope it never happens to you or any of your family.

I am not a member of the Finnegan family but I want to spread the word because the British boxing community is one big family and we try to help each other in times of need.

That joke was posted under a thread entitled 'shocking joke (do not read if easily offended)

So what you do is post a link to it on a fundraising thread!

What is your point exactly? You are an absolute cretin, that joke holds no relevance to this thread.

Jump on the ****ing bandwagon all you like, ****!

Doesn't change the fact that it is ridiculous that people are begging the very people who help pay their bills in the first place, to help someone who gets in a boxing ring, gets KO/TKOed several times and comes back for more!

I have known people go about their everyday, relatively safe jobs and die in tragic accidents and the families have got nothing for it!

You can argue that we pay for them to entertain, we're partly responsible etc... No way, I ain't interested in seeing someone get knocked out several times. They know the risks, come on people, donate all you like, but the promoters , managers, bbb of c are all far more accountable for these horrible incidents!

You knock on the Devil's door long enough, eventually someone will answer!

I wish Jonjo and his family all the luck in the world, sincerely I do.
