    So just read the thread in the lounge about MMA. Of course it's littered with ''Gay rolling on the floor'' malarky. But, what fights would you show someone to maybe change their opinion

    So, what's your favourite fights that almost exclusively took place on the mat. Some great examples of gnp will be appreciated, but Im mostly thinking of fights with extended periods of pure grappling exchanges. Working for position, sub attempts, that kinda stuff

    I'll give some of mine Maia v McDonald, Sakuraba v Newton, Nakamura v Cristea, Royce v Yoshida 2, Belcher v Paul Harris

    I really enjoyed mighty mouse vs Torres so many scrambles. Thought Torres won the fight though

    Randy done well to survive Big Nog's submissions in that. I thought he was done for a good few times in the darce choke.

    Yeah I think that will be hard to beat. Jesus christ his leg at around 40 seconds think I threw up a bit there

    Fedor vs Nog maybe isnt so much grappling as pure dominance by Fedor but show that to a "MMA is just gay rolling on the ground" guy and im sure he changes his opinion about it

    Some great matches mentioned already - I would definitely add Diego Sanchez vs Nick Diaz, Sakuraba vs Renzo Gracie, Lil Nog vs Shogun, Couture vs Kevin Randleman, and GSP vs Karo.

    All time favourite.

    Belcher v Harris was awesome as well, I was on the edge of my seat screaming the whole time.

    G-Spot v Joe Stevenson was another good one. Awesome display from Spotiroctopus.
