I gave him 3 rounds clearly won, and there were maybe two more that were razor close, Mayweather in my opinion won the fight but Cotto didnt do nearly as bad as alot of people on ESB make it out to look. And by the way Cotto Apologized for his comments and acknowledged that Floyed beat him, he was just emotional after the fight.
Cotto got two rounds and I was being generous. I don't buy that Floyd's legs haven't diminished. He wasn't using his feet to set up punches, not just to fight off the back foot. He looked sluggish and rusty.
Big mistake, Floyed faught a smart fight in fighting Cotto the way he did, dont forget that floyed was landing bombs towards the middle rounds and cotto was still there, I honestly dont think Floyed has the power to knock him out without puttin himself in harms way
LOL. Generous would be giving him 3-5 like I did. I felt he won a couple close ones. To say he won 2, while being generous about bout, BWHAHAHAHA. Admit it, you had it a shut out for Floyd.
He had Cotto doing the dance in the 12th and if he threw out a few more left hooks or right hands at a wobbly Cotto in the last minute i dont think he was at much risk just my thought cause Cotto looked pretty hurt at the end
Cotto won the 9th that's it. He had fleury here and there but nothing that he could sustaine long enough to justfy giving him any other round. Doing better than expected which seems to be the argument for giving him some rounds. Is not really a justfication for giving him any rounds. Even with boxing's subjective scoring system. Did Cotto really do better than expected? It seems that the argument for this rests strongly with the fact that the fight went the whole 12 rounds. Considering the fact that Mayweather is not consered a puncher. Is making the whole 12 against him in a light middleweight fight really that impresive?
I hope you mean round 8, because I am pretty sure the 9th was a Mayweather round. Round 8 was Cotto's best round of the entire fight.
I think he was mixing it up more than what he needed to,he allowed himself to be on the ropes a few times, even walking along the side of the ropes as he was throwing uppercuts.. Maybe not KO him,but he could have went for the kill and tried to knock him down.... When he had Cotto dazed Floyd backed up and was bouncing around, could have been a tactical move also..
Cotto won 4 rounds max on my card. Only ******ed nuthuggers think floyd won every round. there was one round where cotto realy laid it on floyd, landed easily more and was dominant. One of the middle late rounds. even Floyd post fight stated miguel won a few rounds
First, I said 3-5, you ****ing ******. READ! Second, there was a very interesting article I read. There were 5 different rounds the judges gave to Cotto. Example, for instance 2 judges gave Floyd round 4, while one gave Cotto round 4. Then two judges gave Floyd round 9, while one gave Cotto round 9. So even though the judges had the same scores, they gave Cotto different rounds. So you can make the argument that Cotto could have won more than 3 rounds since there were scoring disagreements. Keep in mind what I just wrote above was an example. I don't recall the scorecards off the top of my brain, but you can look for yourself to see what I am talking about. So you can **** off.
I agree but the reason he had him like that in the 12th was because of how he fought the rest of the fight, if they have a rematch and he tries to go for the ko from the beginning when cotto has fresh legs it could possibly backfire
he didnt win 3-5 you ****. He won 2-3 as all 3 judges and lederman had *** boy. Nobody cares about an article you read ****. Cotto won at best 3 rounds. Mayweather won at best 10 rounds anything more both ways is bad scorig. Now **** off. 43-0. :hi:
