Sapiyev's style is the epitome of amateur style. It's funny how people rubbish amateur boxing then they talk about the most 'amateurish' boxer going pro and doing well.
Lomachenko has a pro style already, he'd make the transition far more easily.

People keep wanting to talk about Lomachenko. But the thread is about Sapiyev.

hell no he wouldn't, he's a man staying am so that he can beat up on boys. it's pathetic. he shoe shines too much to be a good pro, he'd need to overhaul his whole style and at 30 years old that ain't happening.

I dont know if this thread is alive, but after watching Lomachenko pro debut, I think it would be same with Sapiev schooling Ramirez.

And knowing that Mayweather also is chess player, I see good chances for Sapyev in their fight.

Shoe shine doesn't leave the opponents nose leaking. A shame he never turned pro. He had some talent.

The skills are there, but he'd need to badly tune down the pace. You don't go 12 with that intensity.

He should adopt the pace, not only the style, to RJJ's levels. And then he'd be a perfect clone, he even has the same size.

What the F? He looks just like Calzaghe in there beating Lacy. But, everyone on here hates Calzaghe and likes this guy, WTF???

Yes, he is a top pro prospect and a likely champion. The trouble is he's 32 now. Not likely to go pro.

This guys footwork is insane. I've never seen anything quite like it.

I'm not sure it's doable in the pros as it's not the most economical.

He moves around like a robot on wheels that doesn't have to stride.

Great amateur, OK pro. He was 27 in that clip with Spence, that's not that impressive. If you did a rematch now with small gloves and no headgear, Spence would destroy him.
