:bart whatever PK I think these women could (do?) make a very decent living from the ams, but I believe that now is the time from womens pro boxing in the UK to take off a bit. There is no better time than now, double headers with men in world title/upper level bouts would sell BIG. Doesnt look to difficult to pick up a "legit" title in womens pros either.
Pros look different to ams though in womens boxing I think .Technically I think women may be more suited to the amateurs .Just genetics I think .Heads heavy snapping back can they take a punch ??? It's different when the head guards come off . [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLZVauGJsAo[/ame]
women's boxing has most of the problems the football does. the men's game is just a far better spectacle. add in the fact the biggest name in women's boxing went and ducked her biggest name challenger and went off and did strictly come dancing. atsch
Please provide footage of that advert As for turning pro, I'd advise them against it, the women's pro game does seem scummy and underpaid
40 grand a year, free training and quipment and a car... really not sure if she could top that in the pros actually! thats a healthy wage for anyone, really.
What you are basically saying here is that she is already a pro but fighting under amateur rules.....None of the top "amateurs" are amateur in the traditional meaning of the word.
Just a question, Could Taylor do big amateur fights like the one Khan had against the cuban after the olympics? I think they would sell out the 02 in ireland if she did that and co-main event with a male pro fight. I don't know how the getting paid would work but surely they could chuck her big money under the table?
im gonna say i think katie got the biggest reception of the night in the o2 that time, bigger than dunne, was unbelieveable
Was a great fight too. That American lady was no psuh over. I think Jonas should say amateur but after RIO maybe turn pro. Not sure about Katie. Adams, could turn pro now though.
:deal easy. good boxing good combinations good defence and a high workrate. plus the crowd was ****ing mental.
