Martinez vs Chavez Jr. Promo + Poll

It's a Top Rank card. Martinez ain't getting a decision.

 

As an Irishman it was hard to watch. Duddy, Lee and Macklin all getting a hiding in that promo. :|

 

I'm picking Martinez by UD. Obviously he is going to have to overcome the size and pressure of Chavez, but I think he is good enough to do it. Also if Chavez wins I won't jump on the Martinez was overrated bandwagon, I'll just admit the kid was better than I thought. Both men deserve respect for giving the fans a fight they wanted and not using the business as an excuse to duck each other.

I know of Macklin and Lee a bit more than Duddy, how good is he skill wise? Is it generally considered a good win for Chavez?

 

i still think martinez wins but would i be surprised if jr pulls an upset? hell no. he was suppose to lose to rubio, but, he didnt. hes not the same julio any more, peds or not. this julio definitely has a chance to pull off an upset. hes the incredible hulk with the granite chin. martinez should be worried if that julio shows up from the andy lee fight. i know i would be LOL

 

Duddy had **** all skill. He just had a good engine and a fantastic chin. Fought with a lot of heart. Very entertaining but not hugely talented. C-level boxer. So a decent win but nothing special for Chavez Jr.

Whats up with the card clash? Seen Paddy Power have the fights listed as different dates. Did the promoters come to their senses?
