i dont think so... so, no. a one eyed margarito was starting to get to him just like the first fight. my prefight prediction was 7 to 5 floyd, i didnt think floyd was much better than a faded cotto... still dont.

Floyd is slowing down, he didn't dominate Cotto though but still won a UD. Pacquiao is slowing down quickly, we shall wait and see how he goes on November.

you ask like you have a thourough understanding of how, what he does now, is vastly superior to what he did then. tell me, how is it that his percieved new defence is so superior, and why?

I like Cotto a lot as a fighter. In fact, he's been one of my favorites for a while. However, everyone needs to stop kidding themselves if they think that Cotto's run at 154 has been great. Mayorga / Foreman / Margarito are not exactly the creme de la creme.

Margarito is important because of the revenge factor. Foreman, who's one advantage over Cotto was footwork lost that attribute in like the 3rd round or something like that. Mayorga...c'mon, that guy...just, c'mon.

I actually thought Cotto looked the best he has in the Floyd fight since pre-margarito 1. He was just a better fighter than his post Marg 147 days and even his 154 fights previous. Trainer, mindset...whatever it was, I thought he looked great in the Floyd fight. I was more impressed by him than Floyd to be honest. Floyd won (clear 7-5 for me, maybe 8-4), but seemed vulnerable, a little sloppy, and a little gun shy. I thought it was weird that he let Cotto into the fight as much as he did.

Dont you know that fighters can reverse time and go back to being prime just by signing to fight Floyd, i thought that was common knowledge around here where *****s abound.
