Just watching Audley's Olympic final bout and the guy is pure class! Comparring him to the heavy weights this year he looked like he could clean up.

They guy has all the physical attributes and skills but could never deliver. shame really.

I see Anthony Joshua going much much further as a pro due to heart and fighting spirit. When his technical skills are polished he will be an absolute force

Audley was big, good power and decent skills.

Sadly he just hasn't got the heart for the game, it just isn't there and seemingly never has been

As most have said, he has the main attributes but lacks a real fighters heart.

The annoying thing is, his chin isn't even that bad.

It took about 20 flush shots off Haye to put him down.

Granted he got cold clocked by Sprott but that looks a bit of a blip in the grand scheme of things

He is wasted talent, if only he had the heart of Haye or some others he would be awesome, probably be up there with Lennox Lewis.

He's a Bounty! Black on the outside, white on the inside! That's why he has underachieved.

It's gonna happen, audley will wait around long enough for the brothers to retire, leaving 4 vacant titles, and he will wriggle his way into a shot and pull out the 1 big punch he promised! YES I CAN lol ;)

Audley can't be the biggest underachiever in UK box history. Even if he has failed to achieve in the pro ranks he won an Olympic Gold medal which puts him significantly higher than many UK boxers.

For want of not making this a serious conversation - the OP has a really good point. Completely different Audley in that Olympic final and when you compare him to the likes of Anthony Joshua, Cammarelle, etc., he's world's apart.

Such a shame that he didn't like getting hit with smaller gloves and no headgear!

If Audley Harrison beats David Price which i highly doubt, but i will be supporting him optimistically.

If he does beat Price, he will become British & Commonwealth Champion.

    So career achievements will be..

    Commonwealth Games Gold.
    Olympic Games Gold
    European Champion
    British & Commonwealth and Champion.

I am not even sure if he would of been world champion if he had adopted his amateur discipline, and not attempted to do everything for himself.

He may not have lost silly fights to Rogan or Sprott! But it was still a gamble that he would of been World Champion.

He could of done allot of things differently and he knows this......
