but if Margo cheated and did it knowlingly

A- why would he take the gloves off

B-why would he shake hands with people ringside with his gloves off

C- the Nevada commission as pointed out in other threads provides the wraps in a sealed container

D- to those who think Margo cheated his whole career, do you really think that a guy who fought that many title fights in big commissions could really sneak that by that many times....if so that is more of shame on the boxing orgs than shame on Margo

Just my opinion, Cotto won the rematch and seemed to regain the dignity he had but he certainly isnt the same

If anything, the second match just proved Margarito never needed loaded wraps to pummel Cotto into submission again, a healthy eye and a non pro-rican venue would have sufficed.

Cotto took his beating like a man, just as he did with Pacquiao. He is one of my favorite fighters.

Margarito used plaster of paris in all his fights? How did he not have serious hand issues? Your telling me a guy who broke compubox records with near-on stone on his knuckles doesn't break them? Do me a favor.

Margarito knew about the illegal wraps he "always" used? Why would he show them to the crowd after pounding another guy into submission? Again, Margarito never exemplified the behavior of someone who, if he was cheating, knew about it.

Capetillo ensured Margarito was "plastered up" before his fights. Margarito didn't know about it, but it nonetheless happened? Margarito was beating people up before he even met Capetillo. Just ask Sergio Martinez.

I could go on refuting things, for instance, how does Capetillo manage to supplant his "plaster knuckle pads" into Margarito's handwraps when it is a known fact Nevada supply the fighters and their teams with the materials prior to the fight on the night?

I would be happy to go on forever, why would the commission say Margarito's wraps contained "traces of elements" found in plaster of paris if it was, in fact, plaster of paris. They had a team of forensic ****ing experts, several days and still didn't confirm what the substance was? Pathetic.

Anyway, yes, Cotto is a warrior, I love him. I can understand why someone would want to just put two and two together and make five re: his first fight with Margarito, but that doesn't mean they should.
