George has a million of em.

"Oscar De La Hoya ... shoulders like a heavyweight. You get in the ring, see them shoulders walkin' at ya" ...

"nobody can beat Oscar when he's on his toes."

"Hopkins is doing something really stupid by following a power puncher like Trinidad around." These are off the top of my head, probably misquoted.

'OK Jim , Ive got Hatton two rounds up going into the 8th, Floyd is going to need to do something different'.

When in reality Floyd was landing at about 35% and Hatton around 18%.

Definitely when Max Kellerman said he was going to re-watch Pacquiao-Bradley without the sound so as not to unduly influence his own self. That was amazing.

It must be something Ronald Mcintosh said in the olympics just gone, he often came out with dreadful catchprases, and labeled Audley Harrison a great lol.

In terms of professional boxing, it must be something one of the HBO team said.

"This is for the WBO Heavyweight Championship of the World, previously held by Wladimir Klitschko" (3 to 4 times)

Eurosport commentator about the WBO European Championship bout between Ondrej Pala and Darnell Wilson.

It was actually Larry "Vodkabreath" Merchant who said this in the Jones Jnr. vs. John Ruiz bout.

He said: "One of the good things that's happening in here, we'll probably never have to see Norman Stone again". Lampley just replied with a "Yeah".

    See:

    At the 2m45s mark.

One of the most stupid things that I can remember is German HW boxer Axel Schulz, acting as "expert analyst" in 2010 for SAT1 during a Felix Sturm bout. He was asked how he would rank Felix Sturm p4p. He replied:
"On my p4p list, Wlad K. is #1, Vit K. is #2, but Felix is right at the #3 spot."

    I was like "WTF?!".

"When you beat a legend, you become a legend!"

    - From the Danny Green v Roy Jones fight (2009). This is typical Green nut-hugging commentry.
