Gene Tunney 23. Ricardo Lopez 24. Sugar Ray Leonard 25. Larry Holmes 26. Jack Dempsey 27. Charley Burley 28. Sandy Saddler 29. Terry McGovern 30. Bernard Hopkins Ive probably missed a few I should have included. What do you guys think? Who should I include/remove in your opinion?
It's pretty good. Dempsey and Johnson in a pound for pound list seems borderline insanity to me but there's not a lot more to gripe about here. Some other **** includes Lopez above Burley (Wtf) and Ray Leonard's rating - i'm curious as to what criteria could see Lopez above Leonard? No Packey McFarland? The way your list is going i'd say he's a must rank.
How the **** is Ricardo Lope that high? Jofre is too high if you're not even mentioning Harada, who shits all over Lopez, Dempsey, Johnson, Holmes. Leonard a bit too low IMO. But really not a bad list at all. A lot of same names to mine and no I can't be arsed to repost mine, sorry.
(another) **** list . probably popular because of it . I C U took d orriray/lufcrazy route , enjoy it d yellows r 2 high d reds r way 2 high Archie Wright is somewhere between red and yellow , I still put him in d red . Charles & WSJ may belong in d red as well .
Also, Gavilan, Rodriguez and Napoles are all top 30 calibre IMO. There'd be space for 'em when you shop Holmes, Dempsey and Johnson. If you're even picking them for being great champions then where is Joe Louis? Who has way more 'P4P' credentials than those guys as well IMO.
d lufcrazy/orriray track , this forum has plenty of your type , just like **** in d sewer , only more of it . U even hatched out of d same origin of it .
i could even c him swapped with WSJ , but neither belongs in d top 10 p4p of all times . top 20 below 10 is d biggest stretch in favor of both of them which is still bearable . Charles got his A$$ KOd more than 1ce , but WSJ once got his S KOd , and also stopped by Maxim and enjoyed a far bigger size advantage over his opponents and a weaker opposition overall (LaMotta , Graziano , old Armstrong being some of his notable opponents)
Nah, as I said above, not bad at all AND who am I to say my opinion is 'better'/more valid than your own, explain your criteria and prove me wrong :good
Here, a slightly changed version.... 01 Harry Greb 02 Sugar Ray Robinson 03 Henry Armstrong 04 Muhammad Ali 05 Sam Langford 06 Ezzard Charles 07 Roberto Duran 08 Bob Fitzsimmons 09 Willie Pep 10 Joe Louis 11 Benny Leonard 12 Joe Gans 13 Jack Johnson 14 Mickey Walker (always want to put him higher but he always looks out of place) 15 Archie Moore 16 Pernell Whitaker 17 Carlos Monzon 18 Barney Ross 19 Joe Walcott (Barbados) 20 Sugar Ray Leonard 21 Gene Tunney 22 Charley Burley (should Burley be higher than Tunney?) 23 Tommy Hearns 24 Tony Canzoneri (should Canzoneri be over Hearns?) 25 Julio Cesar Chavez Sr 26 Larry Holmes 27 Jimmy McLarnin 28 Bernard Hopkins 29 Sandy Saddler 30 Stanley Ketchel (always have trouble thinking where to rank ol' Stan)
