We all seen him being given 4 standing 8 counts in the games, the most out of any boxer This is him up against Joe Selkirk, Selkirk gives him crazy legs towards the end of the round. His conditioning didn't seem great to me. He was always tiring in the last round of fights so I imagine that is his main issue.
He's dog****. He was already a semi celebrity about 2 years ago and why? There is NOTHING outstanding about this kid. British champ at very best. More likely commonwealth
I know, most days i think people on this site are just bored and couldn't care less about boxing. Ogogo just needs to tighten up his defense and like mentioned previously he needs to improve his stamina.
At the end of the day, HE'S STILL FIGHTING AS AN AMATEUR. Of course theres going to be a **** loads of things that he can and WILL improve on. His conditioning did look a little suspect but thats something that can be overcome by. He's still only 23 and he did us Brits proud at the Olympics!! Fair play to the guy
Are standing 8 counts in amatuer boxing a sign of a glass chin? not the most knowledgeable about am boxing, but it seems that some of the punches standing 8's are given for do not seem to be good indicators of a weak chin, or am I wrong?
Emmm his legs were gone when Joe Selkirk caught him while wearing massive am gloves & yes standing 8 counts are given when a boxer gets rocked, Ogogo was rocked 4 times in one tournament, so what you on about
