He fought at 140 against Hatton before the Cotto fight.

What else is really out there for him? There is nothing but rematches or a Mayweather fight thats all that makes sense at this stage..

Since ODLH, Pac had exactly one other fight below the welterweight limit.

Prior to the ODLH fight, had I even considered Pac going to 147 to face Cotto, I would have given Cotto the edge based on size, figuring his thudding body blows would slow Pac down. Obviously Pac's camp thought the same which is why he didn't go to 147 to face Cotto, but went there or higher for the less dangerous Clottey, Margarito, Bradley.

I'm 100% cool with 150 for the rematch.

I should have written "a" instead of "the." Wrong preposition. I'll edit.

The only rematch I'd watch Pac in is with Marquez.

I don't think he went to 147 for less dangerous opponents, it's just that Cotto was his first legit ww opponent. It wasn't clear to anyone Pac could take punches from a welter, heck he never proved he could take punches above 130 (1.5 yrs before Cotto). Diaz, DLH, Hatton didn't touch him. If he'd immediately rematched Cotto, I bet it would have been at 147 just like Clottey or Mosley.

He was clearly looking for an advantage against Cotto. I fully believe had Pac fought Clottey after Hatton, it would have been at 147. Pretty much anybody other than Cotto would have been allowed the full limit, IMO.

My problem is that Pac fans pretend like he wasn't looking for an advantage when his behavior both before and after the Cotto fight suggests otherwise.

Pac fans don't want a Bradley or Cotto at 154 cause they know he will lose, that is why they all wanna see him fight Juan,so he can get yet another gift decision... They guy TKO Morales then fights him again AFTER he already loses to Raheem and Barrera..

He then goes to TKO Barrera then lets him get another fight,he is not fighting Cotto at 154 cause he knows he will lose.. At least Antonio had the balls to give Cotto a rematch..

Exactly even though Pac feels he won three times, what guy wins a trilogy but wants a 4th fight. A guy that feels he lost the last one,or avoiding other fighters..

Juan will beat him again and Manny knows he will always get a gift decision from the judges..

I would ****ing love this fight at 154, but anything below that is unacceptable imo.

Floyd and Pac both weighed 150 on fight night in their last fights at Welterweight so the excuse of him being too small doesn't really fly.

All day. I buy this fight guaranteed.

Cotto looked sharp at that weight against Margarito (agreed it was Margo), and strong against Mayweather. I personally think 151-152 would be his ideal weight for Pac.
