Manny should go back since he never got a chance to compete in the Olympics,Roach would be an excellent AM coach cause all his fighters have to do is throw alot of punches

An Olympic Gold medal is very very important for the Philippines since they didn't won even one. Pacquiao might take this opportunity to represent for the glory of his country.

After winning the Olympic Gold, PAC can run for President ... :D

This is the 20 year anniversary. Watching the Olympics, I thought about pros being allowed in the games. I dismissed it out my mind myself. This is an amateur experience, what about people who don't even want fight on the next level?, forget about it, it will never happen. Now this. We'll see how this goes but, I think i'm for it.

Ah I know we could get behind a "Dream Team" concept in this sport...

  6. This is one major, fundamental change of boxing. Boxing has always used Olympics and international titles as a base for developing future prospect champions. Those with Olympic Gold next to their name are elite. Now it's open to anyone as another alphabet title if you go through "there" promotions.

This Wu is corrupt as ****, turning a pure organization and start to boxing into another promotion company

This is really going to screw the upcoming prospects trying to make a name for themselves. Boxing already screws over the middle and lower class boxers. :verysad

this is the best thing that could happen to boxing.

the olympics are more powerful than the alphabet boys.

1 title, every 4 years. but you must become your countries best 1st, before you get to go. all americas welters would have to fight in pre olympic fight offs to fight for their country. no more dodging opponents.

if you want olympic glory, if you want to represent your country in the worlds most ancient games, if you want the most important sporting bling on the planet round your neck, then you have to join up.....once every 4 years!

 so you expect all the best pros to go amateur for a year. I sure hope not, because do you know how crappy boxing would become if all the best fighters just stopped fighting for a year.

    This whole idea is stupid

the boxoffs would be huge ppv events. so there would be MORE BOXING in that year. all the yank welters would box off for a spot on the team. every division in boxing would have the best americans fighting in the boxoffs!! huge events. huge for boxing, huge for PPV.

every country, germany, rusia, uk, etc all have their best in boxoff during the year.

boxing wouldnt stop for a year, it would EXPLODE.

  14. Don't like it, makes a mockery of all Olympic champions that came before, and their achievements.
