    That is VERY subjective imo.

Titles, linear titles, resume's, name value etc etc etc

I base things on what I SEE in the ring.

Ant Kostya Tzsyu that night looked VERY faded to me.

Faded enough that he was very competitive?

I'd like to know if all those picking Froch think Floyd is one of the greatest? Because obviously it's all about resume with you guys and not ability. I wonder if you hold your criteria up for everyone you assess.

Totally agree with this post, there is no trolling this is genuine opinion, of course Tszyu being no.1 is a factor you have to consider, but lets face it at that point in his career was he a tougher matchup than say Taylor, Pascal. Dirrell? I dont think so.

Yes he was as good as Taylor (past his best) Pascal (green) or Dirrell (who looked dreadful, as did Froch)

Surely your ability is part of how you beat your oppsition? are you saying Mayweather has a good resume but he's not very good?

 Jesus Christ you are blowing this way out of preportion. Btw I think Floyd is an ATG. The greatest? Of course not, top 50 I should think.

How can you say Pascal was green when in his next couple of fights he became the Ring Champ at 175?

It wasn't like he went on a major learning curve or anything.

Anyway I know you are not going to back down so there is no point going on about this all night, you are in the minority in your opinion.

I do feel that Hatton gets shat on too much but at the same time I consider him a B-/B level fighter whereas Froch is B+/A-

Froch has proved his salt times and times again, and he did it the hard way.

Hatton may have been able to beat the Judah's, The Cotto's The Bradleys etc which would have put him above Froch but he didn't

Boxing is a proving ground, and Ricky didn't prove it.

Thats the Fleaman! seems to be incapable of accepting other opinions! His own is the only one that can be right which I find a strange attitude for someone that has spent so much time on a forum where the whole purpose is to share opinion. :huh

Hatton-Judah could go two ways, Hatton gets caught with the left hand (most likely the uppercut) on his way in and the fight is over instantly, simular to the Pacquiao fight, or Hatton pressures Judah and stops him late, personally I like Judah to stop him.

    Cotto would muller Hatton imho.

Hatton-Bradley I'm quite unsure of but I think Bradley has the edge just because he can box aswell as rumble.

Flea thinks if you disagree with him, you think Mayweather is the best ever, Mike Tyson would knock out Ali, the Klitschkos would get bombed out by 80s bums :patsch

    Paulie was made for him.

The manner of victory was about what you'd expect, it was just heightened because people felt that Hatton couldn't box.

Similar in a way to Froch's win over AA.

That's easy to say in hindsight, but at the time Tszyu was the betting favourite and ranked as one of the best P4P in the sport. Maybe he did get old overnight, or maybe Hatton just made him look faded? Regardless, it's still a better win than any of Froch's IMO.

Yep and this thread has now gone a bit off topic! Seems to now be all about 1 fight and it was better than any of Froch's wins which imo isnt what the thread asks.

TBF that one win is a crucial element of the debate, especially as the win in question led Hatton to become THE number 1 in his division, a feat Froch has never achieved. I still agree Froch has surpassed Hatton, but Hatton IMO has the single greatest achievement.
