    This is definitely the right time given the surge of generally favourable Olympics coverage, but who the **** is she going to fight? Is there a marketable name at light or welter?

    Aren't Ann Sophie Mathis, Holly Holm and Cecilia Braekhus all around welterweight? It's the hottest division in women's boxing. Holm got knocked out by heavy-handed Mathis last year (I think) but then stuck to boxing in the rematch and got the division. Braekhus remains the number one in the division (from what I remember) but the Holm and Mathis bout was billed as the bout for the pound for pound crown (or for women's boxing is that a tiara?! :p)

    As for Taylor… a British promoter would be more local and she might get fights in Ireland, but women's boxing isn't as big there as it is here. Maybe Olympic fever changes that. Better to go to an American promoter, imo.
