Hagler because he was a warrior who had to work hard and was handed nothing (not even the victory he deserved).

Hagler for sure. He was my guy, and the best fighter in the world when I came of age as a boxing fan.

I liked him because he was a throwback, and so totally true to himself and his craft that there was simply no confusing him for anything but a fighter.

Sugar Ray Leonard hands down was my all time favorite. Meanwhile the exact order I would rate these four fighters in goes precisley:

    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Marvelous Marvin Hagler
    Tommy "Hit Man" Hearns
    Roberto Duran

All were great fighters that were involved in one of boxings many great matches of all time, including against each other, and they were all big time CCT/PPV high rated events, especially Sugar Ray Leonard's fights.

In the 80s, I didn't like any of them. I felt Don Lee, Sumbu Kalambay, Lindell Holmes etc were better operators at this time at middleweight.

No Haglar was never confused..If any thing he was confusing opponents with his Style and the fact that he like to swtch to Southpaw..
