    See the post above.

HBO has let plenty of guys who've cheated fight again. it's about the money it cost them is my guess. Peterson's failed test cost HBO money. And you think they want to reward him with another TV date? :huh

    Good for HBO!

    - but if they're going to start banning cheaters, does that mean the compubox guys will no longer be allowed at ringside?

 Good one. Sadly, it has nothing to do with cheaters, and is ALL about money and ratings. That's what drives networks.

Who cares about Steroids. The old time fighters would have used them if they were around in the 30s and 40s. People dont change.

Wow, so many racist people. What a joke and some of you guys call yourselves boxing fans. Peterson was caught using everyone has accepted his reason as valid, but thats not enough. The has got to be dumb for asking for the test if he was cheating. Yeah that don't make to much since does it. People need to move on as many known athletes that cheat out there, you would have to be in a closet or a complete imbecile to believe that there aren't more that are. The biggest sign of a cheat is to do the impossible, never get injured, and say it just hard work. Look around it's lots of them out there in every sport, they have really good chemist.

Not everyone accepts his reason, infact only Petersons friends at the IBF accept it. It was a bull**** reason but the IBF have a history of corruption, still no plausible explanation as to what the **** hat man was doing that night

this has more to do with HBO being hypocritical than Lamont being forgiven.

What the ****? Just because Peterson paid some shady vegas doctor to say he had abnormal levels of testosterone does NOT mean his reason was valid.

    :patsch
