He would try to keep away, but I can't see him being too successful.

I like Foreman big time in this fight, by stoppage...it's actually a fight I don't think Bowe would want to take...I always thought Bowe had something of a bully's mentality. It should be remembered that prior to Bowe-Holy 1, Holy as a HW was not held in the same awe/respect as he is now...he was viewed as a smallish HW who was not a particularly outstanding champion who was on borrowed time as champ...I think Bowe fancied that fight because of that.

Bowe never took an an elite peak SHW - he gave away the WBC belt rather than fight Lewis. I think '73 George would intimidate Bowe...Foreman by tko in about 3-4 rounds imo.

Can you imagine the press conference and staredown????

Id love to see Bowe punch Foreman like he did Donald

But yeah Foreman would **** him up. And i like Riddick.

Riddick trying to brawl with Foreman would be his downfall.

Bah to Bowe's skills, these two would just start brawling, pushing, and wrestling once the bell rings. I think this ends up looking like Lyle/Foreman. If Bowe survives the early rounds his superior stamina(even when he was fat he could go 12 rounds at a brutal pace) might give him a chance of scoring the late stoppage. Big "if" though, Foreman was a great finisher and wouldn't let Bowe off the hook once he got him hurt.

I think prime or prime Bowe was more talented and a better fighter than Foreman and would have beaten Foreman possibly knocking him out by mid fight.

The hardest punching ATG V the leakiest defence ATG

A no brainer - Bowe will be stopped within 5 rounds

Bowe was out on his feet against hide - Hes gonna be out of his depth against Foreman

Foreman's defense was worse than Bowes.

No way does this one go the distance. Yes Bowe does have better skills, shorter punches should get there quicker although Foreman's uppercuts inside are actually pretty short too. Bowe's heavier too, chin wise it's close. Foreman maybe stronger, maybe not though and how would he cope with a bigger man?

It could go either way, in a brawl though Foreman came closer to losing a brawler at his peak against Lyle. Given how close Foreman was to losing that, it would be fool hardy to put much stock in him beating Bowe. Bowe too is very hittable and it'd be foolish to write off Foreman's power

Slight edge to Bowe in a shoot out and it would be a shoot out war

If we are going to use the Foreman of the Lyle fight - we should use the Bowe of the Golota fights.
Foreman would of blown Golota away like Lewis did and Lyle would have give that Bowe fits.

Cant see how Bowe will survive if Hide can hurt him!

The difference being Bowe was well past it, fat and uncoordinated against Golota, where as Foreman was prime and his normal self against Lyle

Foreman was never the same again after Ali beat him

and the Lyle fight was after nearly 2 years inactivity

Bowe was coming off wins against Holyfield and Gonzalez

    hardly past prime

Eh, I can see Bowe having the same struggles with Lyle that Foreman did. Maybe even moreso. Bowe would be just as vulnerable to those heavy right hands over the top.

If you don't think Bowe was well past his best you're either biased, blind or haven't watched his fights

Maybe Foreman was 'never mentally the same post Ali', but what are we basing that on? He looked just as good beating Frazier in the rematch, Norton was tailor made for him too

Maybe Foreman was never that good against certain styles
