This is the issue with the rematch. If a shot 39 year old Fully motivated Lewis does come back and beat the **** out of Vitali. Kbro fans will just say Vitali was a bum and Lewis retired to avoid Wlad. If Lewis fought Wlad as well and beat him, Kbro fans will just say Lewis didn't fight Prime Wlad. There is always an excuse. So why give a rematch? I personally would have loved to see a rematch and watch a old fossil ATG beat the living **** out of Prime Vitali on route to a easy 12-0 decision. Vitali also took Peds.
Anybody know about this island ? This content is protected It's called "Tikehau" island TKO 6 Forever. :hat
Nod: Lewis win against Vitali is really good, and for every Vitali win, Lewis´ win gets even better :deal
He said himself that he could beat Vitali if he trained a little harder.. Also he was beaten soundly in the early rounds and was trailing 58-56 on all three scorecards at the time of stoppage.. I am not saying that Lewis didn't have the right to retire, BUT he said that he would give a rematch, it was a big money fight and he said that he could beat Vitali a 2nd time.. If he really was so confident that he could beat Vitali in a rematch, then why not put in a little hard work and then retire with an even bigger paycheck?
surely the question should be the other way, dude. Why get in the ring again when your body is telling you to hit the beach.
I don't blame Lewis for hanging em up.. But again, he said that he could beat Vitali.. Vitali then fought Jonhson(the guy Lewis originally should have fought instead of Vitali) and destroyed him, the WBC then made Vitali Lewis' mandatory and then Lewis retired.. I also heard rumors(i don't have any evidence though) that Lewis tried to get another fight so he could retire with more money, but when the WBC made Vitali his mandatory he retired.. So clearly, if Lewis thought that he could beat Vitali he would have given him a rematch.
wait till yu get close to 40, man, and see if you disagree, then add 20+ years in the gym to that feeling. When your body starts changing shape no matter how many crunches you do, you lose the motivation on so many levels. yeah i bet you are gonna tell me your 40+ already lol you lucky buffed up devil.
Ok trolling aside now. Honest answer. I really think that Lennox did not know how great the KBROS will become. I think Lewis viewed them as Golotas and they will fade into obscurity. If Lewis had a crystal 8 ball and can see into the future, he would have fought Wladimir and Vitali much earlier to bump his legacy up even further. That being said, Vitali WAS the ONLY superstar HW of the last 2 decades to OFFICIALLY be caught for Peds. Holyfield just had a 'phone call' no real evidence. Vitali is the ONLY one out of Tyson-Lewis-Wlad-Bowe-Golota-Tua-Ike-Holmes- etc to be CAUGHT red -handed for steroid use. That really put a damper on his entire career. Was he juiced against Lewis? I say yes. Just look at his RAGE after, he was literally roid raging and busting veins.
