I agree with you, B'Nard doesn't have an opponent either and he only fights as an underdog and as a no chance old man river. So he wanted Bute, get Froch instead. It would be the second man to have kayoed Jermain to be hugely outclassed by him, even at this age.

 

I'd guess he has come to terms with Oosthuzien as we haven't heard anything about any other negotiations taking place. I hope not though, he's not a big enough name and while I think he is good he's not ready for the Cobra.

I too am hoping for Pavlik, Kessler or Hopkins. I think he beats them all but has a torrid time with Hopkins and sqeaks to a narrow points victory. Not to dissimilar to Calzaghe-Hopkins.

Groves and Degale aren't ready for him, Bika will be a horrible fight and Dirrell has done nothing to deserve a fight with Froch over the last 2 years. I wouldn't be suprised if it Stevenson though, as we said it would explain the "injury" but I think they wait more than a couple of days to announce the fight.

I wouldn't mind Cloud or Cleverly either, if Froch is moving upto LHW.

i dotn think Froch would take Hopkins, 1. because Hopkins is still a tricky guy for about half the fight 2. because froch dont fight fortysomethings unlesshe really is forced to. He'd never actively choose a 40something, thats a bit cowardly.
