It's Duran, by the way. As scary as Floyd is with his defense, there aren't many who are quite as magical as Duran is when it comes to incorporating defense into offense as fluidly as Duran did. Whitaker for one, but he is defense first- and it's rare that an attacker like Duran had such great D as well.

I think it may be time to bump up and revise your Greatest Wins ever thread too. You know which is #1. :deal

Duran, obviously. Hands of Stone is on the same level as Robinson and Whitaker, arguably above even SRL and Pep. Mayweather has a nice skillset, but he is not close to that level, the history's elite club. Duran achieved one of the (perhaps even THE) greatest wins in boxing history by moving up to outfight a peak SRL and take his zero/title. Mayweather's best win was over Diego Corrales. Of course Duran proved to be a significantly higher level fighter.

Mayweather is the more skilled of the two. Duran was a good fighter, but he's one of the most overrated fighters on this site. As good of a fighter as he was, he was just basic skill wise for the most part. There was never anything special about his skills.

I would say DURAN has all that is listed above:

    Chin, Stamina, Defense, Counter-Punching, Foot-movement, Punch-Selection, Timing... INCLUDING POWER!:bbb

PS: Duran was NOT easy to hit... and yes, he could counter punch too.

Its Duran. Mayweather may have better defensive skills, but Duran is a more complete fighter.

You'd be wrong again. And based on our last discussion, you're probably used to that by now.

Yes, 153 instead of 152, you exposed me, my poor reputation.

I could have said 200lbs and it wouldn't be as big a lie as you saying one of the best fighters off all time had "nothing special" about his skills :patsch

You said that Floyd weighs in at 153 on fight night during his fights. I asked you to name those fights and you reluctantly admitted that he never did after failing time after time to change your argument and resorting to calling me names. You also admitted that you were a liar.

I find it funny that in the other thread I had you apologizing to me even though I didn't ask you to, then I ran you out of that thread and now you're trying to come after me on this thread. Seriously dude?

As I said, Duran was obviously a good fighter, but there is nothing special about skill set.
