Time for Froch to stop weight draining/hiding and move up in at least one weight class. He's not getting any younger.
Forch uselly do the weight one week prior to the fight so i don't think he have difficulty making 168lbs But like i said in my prior post , i wouldn't be suprise to see a Pascal-Froch in Quebec next year at 175lbs
maybe thats the strategy. Froch's promoter knows that these three rematches i.e Froch vs Bute ; Froch vs Pascal and Froch vs Kessler will bring lots of $$ and audience .
Froch-Bute is a done deal , well the rematch clause say it Froch-Pascal 2 had already been talk about Froch-Kessler would probably bring more money if done in Danemark
Just admitting this "easy touch"-will you PAY to watch this mess?So much for Froch fighting the elite.
You don't think both Bute and Froch called on team Pavlik for their warmups for their rematch. Both those guys teams were mentioning his name time and again for the past 2 months. Pavlik has no interest in fighting unless it's on his terms.:rofl
Froch probably should be a middleweight. He doesn't go above 175lbs in between fights, he weighs under 168lbs on the week of the fight and if he wanted to drain water weight, he'd easily make 160lbs. Considering that, without cutting, his weight is sometimes around 166lbs in the week before a fight, he could possibly even make 154lbs if he drained exceptionally hard because 12lbs of water is not unheard of at all. The problem is, guys at light heavyweight are all cutting massive weight and weigh upwards of 185lbs on fight night. That'd give them a 20lb advantage on Froch. Even someone like Chavez is a much bigger fighter than Froch on fight night yet Froch is the one in the higher weight class.
Then at 6"1 he is a pathetic excuse of a man. It's not true anyway. Recently Froch has said he walks around close to 90 kilos.
What do ppl prefer, 1 fight a year vs good fighter or 2 or 3 fights a year vs 1 or 2 good fighters and the odd unknown thrown in?
Probably because Froch's level of opposition in the last few years is the best in the sport and he's also shown a willingness to fight in his opponents home town/country.
