My whole point is that Tszyu is overrated and that, as matchups go, this isn't the one sided blow out it's being made out to be. Bradley has incredible powers of recovery, adaptability and athleticism. He'll cause Tszyu troubles while he's in there and I'm not sure that he wouldn't go the distance.

On being on the same level I meant in terms of ability/resume. Bradley ain't far off IMO. Tszyu just had years at the weight to pick up more mediocre scalps.

Bradley's best win? Witter without a doubt IMO.

Bradley's workrate means nothing because he doesn't hit hard enough to deter Tszyu. And if you can't hurt Tszyu, you had better be a master boxer and defensive specialist like a Benitez, Whitaker, or Locche.

Tim Bradley is no master boxer.

Tszyu would give Bradley a beating. The ref would jump in and save Timmy circa the 10th or so.

It does matter because he can close the distance and not give Tszyu time to set for his shots, which he did have to measure before unleashing.

First off, Bradley's best win is definitely Peterson. That's by far his most impressive performance.

Secondly, there's nothing "amazing" about Bradley's adaptability and athleticism.

The guy more less didn't have a ****in semblance of a clue what to do against Pac. A past primmed, no longer motivated Pac no less.

There really isn't anything about Timmy that could neutralize Tszyu's offense.

Ah, I did word that wrong, only his powers of recovery I really rate.

Witter, ranked no.2, away from home, dropped him, dominant performance despite the hometown SD. Peterson, beat no one of note at the time, beat Khan on TRT and got a draw against Ortiz just because Victor is a fragile waste man mentally. So no, Peterson was not his best win IMO.

Not sure if you've noticed, but Bradley is a pretty sloppy fighter up close. I don't know why this doesn't get mentioned more. Tszyu threw much shorter, more compact punches than people seem to remember.

And ANOTHER thing. In terms of handspeed, prime Tszyu had faster hands than Timmy.

I could definitely see a peak Tszyu beating the old man version of Pac that Bradley just fought.

Pac is a shell of the fighter he was 3 years ago, and he still easily beat Bradley without ever really stepping on the gas.

No version of Tszyu beats Pac' after Diaz IMO.

Tszyu was quick when he released, but as I say, robotic.

Bradley is sloppy all round apart from when he times his overhand right well. I just think he can mix up his approach enough to keep Tszyu thinking.

As I say, just not the complete blow out and gulf in quality some are predicting IMO, that's my only gripe.

I'd give Tszyu an excellent chance of beating the Pac of his last 3 fights.

The Pac that beat Hatton, and Cotto would **** Tszyu up though.

    And I didn't say it'd be a blow out.

Timmy would get beat up though, and IMO stopped. Tszyu would step on the gas harder than merciful Pac did.

i dont think tszyu would be a sp fav to ko bradley, bradley has a good chin and enough skill to stop tszyu just walking through him. evens or better on tszyu points is a position i'd happily take

    I agree with X here.

Pac is not the same fighter anymore.

He is clearly on the decline.

Kostya has a good chance against Pac of Bradley fight.

Would Tszyu bring the speed and workrate Manny did for the first seven rounds or so? Pacqiuao, even a bit past his best, is way more dynamic than Tszyu ever was.

Exactly. I thought I'd go for the more recent ones first, don't want to live up to every stereotype ;)

Also, hopefully me going for Bradley here will prove I don't automatically favour the older fighter. Well, not every time :blurp
