Shocking amount of fights not being picked up.

We are in a better place now with BoxNation that's for sure. In recent times Sky has hardly been interested in American fights.

No. But ****** did comment at a press conference that they were above their target. (Not for that fight, I mean their general plan.)

 

Chavez Jr v Martinez is a ****ing monster fight..... Id seriously consider writing a letter of complaint to someone if BoxNation didnt pick this up!!

I'll be seriously pissed if these don't get picked up, Hearn has already said the Golovkin fight will be on sky at least..

 

Writing letters is so 90s. Sending an abusive Tweet is the modern form of complaint.

 

No doubt a lot but it had a really big gate due to the interest. Not much of an undercard if I remember. Not to mention more international interest than usual would help boost the revenue from the fight. Then even if a small number of viewers for the fight maintain subscription... I imagine this topic has been done to death on here seeing as people love to get to the business side.

 

Tweeting should be banned, it's nothing more than publicity prostitution.

Don't get me started on Twitter. I think it's a major social problem.

I don't have an account but I use it for the last news and gossip. I would gladly see it banned.

 

It's the whole Facebook, Twitter internet era stuff I have a problem with, some of the thing's I have to read drive's me up the ****ing wall, there was one sap who after breaking up with his dog of a misses, declared he could not live anymore and made a right pranny out of himself.

I read it and thought ''What the **** are you doing you soppy ****'' you should be happy about not having to wake up looking at that, poor girl fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, man the **** up.

 

Sky need to pull there finger out when it comes to overseas cards..frustrating *******s.

 

I honestly don't give a **** about the Canelo fight. Josesito is a career junior welter who was in the right place at the right time when he faced the mental midget Ortiz. Canelo is massive in comparison and is going to run right through him. Martinez v Chavez might be fight of the year. **** both Sky and Boxnation if they don't pick it up.

 

Remember that TV channels just can't pay anything for a fight. They have to make a reasonable deal with the rights holder.

Top Rank may want silly money compared to normal UK prices.
