Thanks Brah. I might do that.I just want the world to know about the fraud that is Jack Dempsey. But you are probably a pro at lFlyWeight-Light Weight knowledge, so it's all good.

Actually, no. Those weight classes bore me. Nice one, though.

    Yes.
    A lock.
    Set in stone.
    Numbers don't lie.
    Youngest ever.
    9 title defenses.
    2-time champ.
    Head to head monster.
    Holmes got touched.
    Spinks got touched.
    **** Don King.

Tyson was the youngest to win A title at heavyweight. Patterson is still the youngest undisputed heavyweight champ.

And to be fair Tyson is 2 time heavyweight champ cause Douglas kicked the **** out of him.

He is a head to head monster.

Holmes did get ko'd. He was well past it and coming back cold from a 2 year layoff. He did go on to beat Mercer and do alright vs holyfield. It's not a bad win.

Spinks was his best win. Spinks proved he belonged at heavyweight by beating holmes. Spinks hadn't fought in a year. But Mike did EXACTLY what he should have and blew him out of there. Good win for Mike.

If Sangria says numbers don't lie, then maybe Marciano should be number 1. There is no blueprint.

EVEN THIS 1991 version of Tyson would have murdered 8-9 of the Ring's Top 10 today. This is not even Tyson at his best, but the Mike that fought Ruddock would probably have taken the head off Haye-Povetkin-Arreloa-Thompson-Puluv etc. Chisora :patsch

    85-90,without a shadow of a doubt.
And I don't care if anyone makes a decent argument for him not being there.Mike lit up boxing and for that alone,he should be remembered fondly. And it's a personal choice and I want him in.:bart
We could do with someone bringing the same attention to the sport now that Mike did when everything he did was positive for the game.

A win on a nearly 39 year old Larry Holmes is a good win?

No way. Yes he unified and cleaned up an awful Division but his best wins are old Holmes or Spinks or maybe even Ruddock who never did anything.

I have him somewhere in the 12-15 range. Head to head I think he loses to quite a few people also. He was an exciting fighter and saved the Heavyweight Division at the time. I wish the current Champs were as active as he was in his Prime he fought just about every 3 or 4 months it seemed like.

Yeah, 5th or 6th i reckon. I grew up watching him and cant claim to be an expert on older fighters. To me though peak Tyson was a fkin beast.
