Anyone thought that the blokes that jump in last minute might actually enjoy Boxing so that's why they do it. I'm a **** League player but if the opportunity arises and the missus lets me off the lease I will go down to my local club and play a half in the 3rds because I ENJOY IT.
We all know there is **** all money to be made in Aus boxing so maybe that's why. Boxing needs blokes like this and who gives a **** if there damaging their health, they don't care so why should we.
If we were all so concerned about health matters im sure that half the people on here (myself included) wouldn't get shitfaced on the weekends and eat rubbish food.

2k for a 4 rounder? they don't make that much do they. I might have to make a comeback if that's the case. I heard that a Mark Quon when he won the Aussie title a while back only got 3k.
On a side note have you got mail on who threw fights? Is this rumor or fact?

 

Regarding Katsidis... Should he retire, or should he be setting his sights on contenders instead of World champs? He last 3 fights have been very uninspiring. Which is a shame cos he could/can be a great fighter. Probably a different trainer/manager.
