1.Lennox Lewis 2.-----(number 3 spot has tie so no number 2) 3.tie between Vitali and Ali (Also known as Ali "Alkali" because of his high energy in the ring) 4.Wlad 5.George foreman 6.Larry Holmes 7.Mike Tyson 8.Eric "marvelous" Esch 9.Jimmy Young 10.Holyfield Deep inside our heart we all know this is the true powerranking. I excluded Joe Louis because he fought more than half his fights as a cruiserweight, I don't think he would have made the top 10 anyway. 37 fights as cruiserweight. 16 fights max 5 pounds away from cruiserweight level. (And from those 16 most were in the 2-3 pounds too heavy range)
.................................................................... I am (apparantly the 2nd) biggest Vitali cheerleader on this forum.. But this ****...
Anyone who doesn't have vitali ranked in their top 10 HW ATG is a moron. Also, h2h vitali beats all the HW ATG's
Vitali has lost a lot more than three rounds - two against Chisora, two against Lewis, one against Gomez, two against Byrd, one against Hide, and who the hell knows how many before that. He lost to the two best fighters he faced, and he's never beaten anyone particularly great. Knockout rate has nothing to do with how great a fighter is. And there's no way in hell he faced the best of his era. Definitely very good, but if he were to make it into the hall of fame, he'd have the worst best win of any heavyweight in there. His depth of schedule is better than a lot of heavies in the hall, but I'd really struggle to put him in the top 10 all time.
