I can sense the pocho leaking out of this post.

Hopefully they don't cry after JCC Jr. disposes of Turdgio.

Of course I want to see a paisa earn his victory, but other than Jr's pansa wanga no tiene futuro. Like Marquez said WBC favors and pampers fighters like Jr. I forced a Filipino to wear a cap that said MEXICO because I was so pissed they robbed Marquez again so don't question my loyalty. Just remember Olivarez, Sanchez, Morales, Barrera, Canto, Lopez, and Chavez Sr and then watch Jr fights. And then the way he handles himself contradicting what he does saying Maravilla was the one being protected. Les esta picando los ojos mis chavos. Lol You want this guy to represent Mexico? Really? I'll pray Maravilla won't hurt him too bad. Maybe Jr can open a cut on Maravilla with his teeth he might have a chance! Na. I love Mexico, but este wey no mas no.

Wow, Martinez is a big dude. Why hasn't he been trying to make fights with the Wards and Frochs?

I hope Dwyer is spot on in his prediction of the Martinez/Chavez fight. IMO I think Sergio is trying to be as close as possible to Chavez on weight for the night of the fight, thus him been 14lbs over on the 30 day weigh in. Again that is just my opinion but Dwyer might be right, both Julio and Sergio are not losing weight correctly.

    Can't wait for the fight!

This vid has some good points but isn't incredibly well researched. Sergio's 30 day weigh-in wts were 173 lbs before the Dzurinzurik fight and 176 lbs before the PW rematch. I can't find any other pre-fight wts but I have a feeling that he's not much different then he normally is. If you want to believe that Sergio is training for a KO (a la Dwyer) that wouldn't exactly be crazy either though. Styles wise you box a punch, brawl a boxer and punch a brawler. Sergio can be a puncher and a brawler. Its pretty clear which one serves him best in this style match-up. Thats not even to mention the fact that you have to know that if its in anyway shape or form a close fight there's a good chance the judges are going to give it to the Mexican.

He was considerably smaller on fight night vs Macklin and Barker than he was for those two fights, and I wouldn't blame Martinez for trying to come in with a bit more bulk than he has lately since he's going up against Chavez. Given how he was 157-158 without looking too bad, I think he can still make 154 without being dead at the weight.
