The fact that Fury didn't fight Price isn't relevant at all to how he'd go against Wilder.

Has Wilder fought anyone who you yourself wouldn't be confident of beating?

Fighting Fury would be a ridiculous step up in class, in one go. A bit like going from Chuck Gardner to Mike Tyson.

You'd have to favour Fury. He's not a world beater by any means, but some of the criticism he gets is unfair.

I actually think he's quite funny. You've got to know how to take him I feel. Most don't, clearly.

I wouldn't be sure about that. Both probably take home about 80/90% profit of their fights at the moment with their journey men foes taking the rest. With both against each other would 50/50 really be better than a 90/10 split against some bum at this stage? I'm not sure about that. Neither is big enough yet to justify the fight imo. I think this reason also has played a part in the tedious will they wont they Pac-Man vs Mayweather super fight shenanigans.

As bad as Wilder's pro career has been so far he has a very strong case for having a much better cv than Price when all is said and done. Manswell and Beck for me are better scalps than Price's two best wins which are Mcdermott and Sexton. Beck has even fought for a World title.

the decable which as seen boxing lose many fans and as damage the sport.
the best should fight the best once they have established them selves ,fury as done this more so than price so i this instance fury should except imo he should be chasing this fight before anything eles imo(not that its worth ****).
about perferring the irish title to the british, seriously does he have to defend that a few times to keep it? i mean if he thinks that is a step above:-( come on
do we want another pac - may situation for years to come if so boxing losses

Apparently he's lost the Irish title after all that effort now anyway. something to do with the rules after stepping up to fight for the WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title.

Are you sure he didn't accept Toney's invite?

    Fury vs Wilder

I'll believe that when I see it.

You cannot compare two fighters such as Manny and Floyd to two up and coming lads such as Dave and Ty ffs. Fury is 24, why should he rush and try and make all the big fights? The guy is still a baby. I'd much rather see Fury do the buisness at euro level then fight the american prospects!
As for Price, he's going to end up cashing out alot sooner than Fury, mark my words, a couple more bum opponents then he'll be in there with Wlad. ( and he'll lose )

Why are people calling for this fight now? This fight would be so much more profitable and entertaining from a skill pov in a couple of years when the Klits have retired and theres a alphabet belt on the line

Price didnt accept Hennessey's offer & the fight went to purse bids. If Maloney had won (which he would) then Fury would have to fight on Sky. If he fought on Sky he would lose his C5 contract so even if he beat Price he would be left in limbo without a television contract.

It was a no-win situation for Fury, call it a duck if you want but I doubt Fury is trembling in fear every time he thinks about Price. I'm glad the fight didnt happen then because when it does happen it will be 10x the size.

The situation is nothing alike though, everyone knows who floyd and pac are ... who really knows about fury and price? boxing isn't going to lose fans because two up and comers don't fight.
Ofcourse I'd want to see them fight but i really don't think it's going to happen anytime soom unfortunately.
