He should stay in the states, cash in on his name and make the most of what hes got and keep fighting with his blood and guts style for as long as he can.
Even with a new trainer hes never going to be Sugar Ray Leonard and I don't think he will get another title shot so maybe he can become a Micky Ward type that fights just below A level and fights in absolute barn burners against other B+ type competition.

 

I completely agree, he doesn't need the bull**** with fighting for titles anymore, let alone winning them. He would be great fighting blokes over the top 10.

ive spoken to one of the guys thats been paid to take dives so your spot on m8, however i think your refering to another boxer, not the one i spoke to over the phone.

 

I know of a boxer who has been offfered money by a fighter mentioned in this thread to take a dive... Don't need to go into details on who it was, but just pointing out that it happens in this country
