The current Wladimir Klitschko would destroy any version of Corrie Sanders

Sanders has very fast and powerfull hands. IMO he could TKO current Wlad in the first 3 rounds. If Sanders catch him likeVitali in the first round, it means that Wlad is crawling again. So yes i give Sanders a big chance in the first 3 Rounds.

Sanders did not knock out Wlad with one punch. He caught Wlad but Wlad did not know to react well. Today´s Wlad would clinch Sanders after beeing caught (if Sanders land a punch) like Wlad did against Haye in the 12the. Than Wlad would tire Sanders up the next two rounds and than TKO Sanders.

With Emanuel Steward Wlad would not make the same mistakes like he did in 2003. Wlad did much better in his rematches (Monroe with Don Turner, Byrd, Brewster, Thompson).

Sanders might be the worst possible stylistic matchup for Wladimir possible.
In the first rounds Sanders is very explosive, and unlike Vitali he can't afford to get punches to the head.

    Edit:Lewis changed to Wladimir

Sander's would still be dangerousin the first few rounds, but I think Wlad will be able to get through the first few rounds without getting tagged by anything too deadly. Then by the middle rounds Sander's would either get stopped by corner stoppage or put to sleep.

This has all been quite entertaining but I shall now take my leave.

My only point is: Corrie Sanders was on the verge of being one of the greats of his era and in his prime could't find the fights to make his mark with. Also that Wlad losing to him wasn't the case of some bum getting lucky, but rather the case of a boxer (Sanders) with great ability finally grabbing his chance and wining a title, even if he was pretty damn old in boxing terms by then.

I don't think that we saw the best version of either of them that night, and it would surely have been a barnstormer if their best versions could have met.

    With that, respectfully, adieu.

    :)

bit extreme, corrie sanders never got anywhere near the title, even a title shot. a better comparison would be 38 year old Marvis FRazier.
