Bladerunner you do disservice to the film you get your name from. Your rabid hate of Floyd is pathetic, then you have the nerve to question other peoples following of the sport, or their knowledge of it's history as if you are the least bit objective concerning FMJ.

 @ Jones & floyd having the most votes.... only on the general eh :patsch

From that list, the answer is Muhammad Ali 1964-67.... the closest modern era fighter that could contest or edge him (but is not on your list) is probably Roberto Duran 1973-79.

Wilfredo Gomez @ 122 was one of the greatest fighters of all time. 100% KO. Outstanding fighter truly.

lol most people voted for glass jaw Jones and coward Mayweather. The only reason why PBF is "unbeatable" is because he avoids the best.

Because fighting the undefeated Corrales at 130 was avoiding the best. Or the champ Hernandez at 130 was avoiding the best, or the champ Castillo at 135 was avoiding the best.

    Exactly... & even at that....

Duran & Whitaker stand alone at 135 in the filmed (clear footage) era.... floyd doesn`t come close tbh.

You wont cop flack on the general forum mate believe me, you`ll get a pat on the back if anything... but you might cop flack on the classic were people know boxing before 1999.

floyd has close to zero shot vs a prime Duran IMO.

I picked Floyd, the only reason I didn't pick RJJ is because we didn't see enough of him at SMW.

There hasn't been much talent at 168, but nobody at that weight belongs in the same ring as a prime Jones. He was so much faster and stronger than all of them.

All of the other men (other than Ottke) fight in divisions with rich histories. As much as I love Marvin Hagler, there are several 50/50 fights within the history of the middleweight division. Ali was likely unbeatable, but has many legitimate challengers in heavyweight history.

So, based on the criteria of the poll, RJJ is the correct answer. Nobody who fought at 168 could ever touch him.
