The Hyland situation is strange. He went off to New York and at least he's active (inactivity is a huge curse on modern day fighters) but how close is he realistically to a title shot of note? Before he moved to New York he signed with Brian Peters and seemed genuinely close to a European title shot, I think against a Spaniard or a Frenchman, can't remember who or what. But I assume that the relationship with Peters is now finished?

It's frustrating because I always liked Patrick as a fighter and rate him as the best of the three brothers. But seeing him four years ago beating Robin Deakin in the Shorts Social Club, Belfast I honestly thought at this point, in 2012, he would be a lot further on with his career.

He certainly does not deserve a title shot.. he's lookin to fight Billy Dib, and how he thinks he deserves it is beyond me. I think he's just happy being unbeaten. Well he's signed with Snooki from Jersey Shore so.. He really needs to step it up. He's just not fightin ranked fighters.

O'Kane vs Craig Winsor Jr. Surely someone like Bradley Pryce would have been a more logical choice

Dunno why the Fitz fight didn't happen. I did say on page 2947 that Fitz was offered the fight. Was told that O'Kane was fighting "some lad from Wales" instead- which later turned out to be Lee Churcher. But that fell through as well. Windsor Jr is a bit underwhelming

 Yeah I watched it. I'd say the place is rough as **** without the camera's and **** around.

Also anyone notice Kell Brook's family. They are all white and he's black. What the **** is going there.

I loved Ringside today, three really good in depth features on Bellew, Carlos and Brook.

Good to see Frampton's first trainer and club get proper coverage. I know they are trying to big up Shane to be an upcoming trainer (and he seems to be doing very well), but it is a bit premature to say he is "as knowledgeable as Gerry Storey"! C'mon!

Looking forward to the show, it is a great card and I think Frampton will do a number on Molitor.
