Rios wants to prove his last two fights were flukes, but he sure as hell doesn't want Abril again, even at a weight where he can blow up even more :rofl

The unfortunate thing for Rios, is that being with Top Rank means he's sectioned off from the better crop of 140 fighters - Khan, Garcia, Matthysse, Guerrero, etc. Alvarado is probably the best opponent available in the same stable, and a pretty decent one to keep the critics off his back for the time being.

While it would be a repeat of the first fight, watching Abril utterly confuse the fake lightweight would be like one of those jokes that never gets old. I agree though, Top Rank for one definitely doesn't want to see that obscure guy expose one of their fighters again.

    Just look good Vs. Alvarado...
The short term memory fight fans will forget all about what's his name???
    (Oh yeah... April)

Brandon needs to decided what weight class fighter he is before he turns into the laughing stock that Adrien Broner has.

I see this guy Rios picking a win and then a loss here and there, you know. This is really the typical overrated american guy. Bad news for him to have to compete in the LWW Division... At best, he becomes a gatekeeper.

He's already a bigger joke than Broner. He's missed weight more times than Broner and at least Broner actually won when he cheated on the scale.

Alvarado is under rated and I see him knocking out Rios

Can we just get Rios a little tutoring though? Maybe on Weekends?
