Honestly depends on how Andre Ward looks in his next fight if he looks average and Dawson makes him work yes if he is dominant then Ward gets that spot and Chavez should be #4. Pacquiao trashed Barrera brutally and it made him #5. Barrera was number 3 at that time. Perhaps the same example could be made. But probably lower for Chavez as this will be his his biggest achievement unlike Pac who has already 2 titles before the Barrera fight.
If he wins by KO he will have to step up and fight the winner of the Ward/Dawson fight and win. Then he would be top 5 to me!

I believe personally that if he wins and does so impressively he cracks the top ten for sure. He still needs a few more impressive victories after to get into the top five IMO.
