Yeah I think Bute losing still hurts some, and makes Ward avoiding Bute look all the better now, saving Ward from having to fight a hard punching undefeated champ and keeping him fresh for later days
holding on for long periods of time is against the rules. that's why fighters get points deducted. ward should of been warned for it and had points taken. if ward is so slick, why resort to those kind of tactics? isn't froch supposed to be so slow that ward could hit him at will? no, he put up that load of rubbish. to say that it was froch doing the holding as well is about as stupid as it gets. i think it's YOU who needs to watch the fight again. i said ward cheated against kessler using constant headbutts. ( as well as other illegal tactics) which is true. where did i say he did that in other fights? that's the two biggest fights of wards career, (froch/kessler ) where he's used bogus, illegal tactics. goes to show how great he is doesn't it?

Excessive clinch is a foul, but it's not egregious. Usually fighters only get warned for that. And it's irrelevant because Ward wasn't clinching excessively. Watch the fight again. I can watch it for you and do a clinch count if you'd like.

Ward is top 5 P4P elite fighter he's one of the best technicians in the game today. He can fight at all ranges and make adjustments on the fly. You not liking his style is irrelevant it has nothing to do with how great he is. If you don't enjoy watching a quality operator like Ward in the ring or atleast appreciate his skillset then I suggest you find a new sport because boxing doesn't suit you.
Ward had no problem fighting bika green or miranda even though they had already been beaten. Guarantee ward tries to act like Bute doesn't exist now :verysad
