i'll give him his props for beating a great champion, but the more I think about it, the more I believe this fight has come at the right time for chavez jr. martinez seems to be on the decline to me as evidenced by his last two fights. trailing on the scorecards against macklin before the KO and being matched equally against barker up until the KO finish, while on the other hand, chavez jr. has been looking like a wrecking ball against top middleweights in his last few fights. i'll give him full props while keeping all of these things in mind.
with all the ducking of drug tests and the ballooning up by over 20 pounds its sorta hard to giv him credit, i giv him props for taking the fight tho
He's a drug cheat, glove tampering, midget fighting primadona. Also he does seem like a complete ******* outside of the ring, driving under influence among other things. And his cokehead father is well connected to the drug cartels in Mexico. He's nothing but a silver spoon cheater, living off his fathers name. If his name was Julio Rios, there'd be NO HYPE.
If he takes the drug tests and wins fair and square, of course I'll give him props. He'll have beaten one of the best boxers in the world.
Simple as that - give the guy credit for wanting/taking on the tougher fight....... (a lot of others have fail to do that)
hes suppose to not beat serg. if he does, i would say something is not right. he was barely beating cab drivers and then all of a sudden hes dominating top guys. bs LOL
Baby Chavez is a cheat and a FRAUD. He'll get no credit from me until he beats a credible opponent @ 168 or above...
