I would if I could do it over again mate.

I fought behind a jab, moving my feet and feinting. jabs with the occasional lead hook or a cross behind it. I never thought up beautiful combinations like Marquez does. I did think alot though, it's just much harder to think and to execute, when you're not elite

Ray Robinson knocking iron chinned Gene Fullmer out with a left hook while going backwards was better, its arguably the best left hook KO ever.Fullmer had no recollection of either the left hook that flattened him or his incredible struggle to get up. He was to share with thr media later how, when he’d come to, he had looked across and seen Ray pumping his arms in the air as he celebrated victory. Gene, in his still dazed state, had thought how super fit Sugar must have been, exercising in between rounds as he was! That just goes to show how incredibly groggy a Ray Robinson punch was capable of making a fighter. Gene had been KO’d for the first time in his life and he said the sensation was one he did not relish experiencing again!

Must be the worst feeling in the world getting KTFO by following someone into a trap.

    **** thread.

Frazier landed his against a not-far-from-prime ALI.

Floyd landed his on a weight-dancing euro-bum out of his weight-class with a chin made of pure glass.

Mayweather lead Ricky to the corner and landed that same punch multiple times during the fight.

Mostly true. It's the fact that it was a check hook that makes it special. The setup, the timing, and using Hatton's own momentum against him.

Brilliant, but not an amazing punch, in & of itself.

I know I'll catch hell for this, but one of the sweetest left hooks I've ever seen, not thrown by Tyson or Frazier, was Wilder's recent KO of Manswell.

Yes nicely setup. Tszyu was doing it before Floyd. Like MAB, Oscar, and Cotto, Frazier was a lefty converted to orthodox. Powerful left hooks. Ruddock, Morrison, Walcott, Cuevas, and Robinson had notable left hooks.
