Very very weak division. This is a h2h match up of any body in the history of each division.
Prime Lewis would have a tough time against Prime Ali, Prime Tyson, etc and vice versa.

Prime Hearns would have a tough time against Prime Leonard. Who would have been in a tough fight against Prime Robinson.

Prime Roy at 168 had 1-2 guys in that thin history division at most who would have challenged him. The only guy at 168 that I can think of is Joe Calzaghe.

Now if it's Roy at 175? A bunch of 175 fighters would have cracked that egg.

You are very wrong... There are many other fighters near or around 168 all time that could have challenged Jones.. Charles, Moore, Greb? I wouldn't pick them to win, but they have a chance.

He so happened to school the P4P man in Toney, but that doesn't mean there were not fighters there at that weight in the past, that would certainly make him fight.. ( I pick Jones to win)

Calzaghe is all you can come up with? Roy at 168 is a stylistic nightmare for Calzaghe.. Calzaghe has little chance, based on styles. The ones mentioned above have more a chance than Calzaghe IMO. The best Calzaghe has nothing to bring to the table against 168 Jones...Nothing...

Lol. If you wanna go like that, of course they could all have challenged Jones.

I was talking about the SMW'S. The SMW Division was created AFTER the fighters you listed. We go by divisions, if you wanna go by 'around that weight' you can list a half dozen fighters 'around 168' that can knock out Roy or at least challenge him.

Moore is a LHW. Greb is a MW-LHW.
The SMW'S are fighters who actually fought in the newly created division. Jones-Benn-Eubank-Calzaghe-Toney- these are SMW'S.
Moore and Greb probably fought around that weight numerous times, but they are still not SMW'S.

Ok ill give you that since the weight class didn't exist, but had it, they would have fought there.

But I still give Benn and G-Man better chances to beat Prime Roy than Calzaghe.

Sven Ottke in Germany. Wanna knock him out? Good luck, the referee ain't gonna let that happen, and neither is Sven himself, as he runs around the ring. You will need sooo much luck in order to defeat him. You automatically lose on points when time runs out...

Well, the best performance of his career was at 154(Vargas) and he may have been more comfortable(physically) at JMW but I believe he presents the more difficult matchup at WW. There's only a handful of WWs in history that I'd favor over him but there are quite a few JMWs that would give him trouble in my opinion.
