    YDKSAB.

How can Pacquiao have a better left hook than Mayweather when Manny is a Southpaw?

    Care to explain?

Because you can throw a left hook from the southpaw stance, you stupid wannabe Egyptian mother****er. Pacman doesn't have my vote..but god, you're dumb.

Sorry kid, it was a full hook with the elbow bent roughly 90 when it slammed into the side of Hatton's jaw. Weird punch for a Southpaw but that is what Pac hit him with. I think he also floored him with some right hooks too, been a while.

A straight punch is thrown straight, extends straight, and lands straight. Pac usually uses that or more of an overhand.

Bang on. This site makes me want to cry sometimes.

Very unique punch. I'd agree that it qualifies as a hook. Very difficult to explain, but it's a hook that was arced to mimick the velocity of an over hand punch.

    Thanks.

Acutally going back and watching the video, the way Pac pulls his arm back after impact almost makes it look like it was a staight punch. But than in the slow motion, its without question a perfect hook from the strong arm.

BTW, my vote is Charles/Reynolds! Charles feet are just perfectly planted and you have to love Reynold's reaction...like something out of a cartoon.

Nope, Hatton is just stupid as ****. Floyd was trying to check hook him all night and the fact that Hatton didn't see it means he's stupid.

    :deal

This is a great example of MULTIPLE techniques executed perfectly, the main one being footwork.

Go see Tyson or Frazier for a display of a left hook.
