    Are you denying that Marciano went 49-0? :huh

    Carl Williams is another example: fast, powerful and accurate. If boxing purely consisted of jabs, he'd be almost unbeatable.

    Rocky Marciano had a great jab but rarely used it.
    That happens to fighters with short arms.

    a lot of fighters had good jabs. just looking at fighters I've been watching lately, Virgil Hill and Prince Charles Williams have good ones.

    That cuts to the essence of my faux-troll, so I'll simply say that I agree. The general point: you don't have to be a great fighter to have a great jab and not all great fighters have great jabs.

    I was thinking that reading some of the names people listed earlier.

    ATG Fighter doesn't equal ATG Jabber

    Probably Hearns. But I like Famechon's, Driscoll's and Whitaker's.

    Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis amongst the bigger guys.
