Someone will get stopped in Golovkin/Proksa, I feel. They're both gunslingers really. Golovkin's just got a lot more subtlety, a better guard, a more reliable style and is more of a stalker whereas Proksa relies more on unorthodoxy and speed. But in reality both like to wing in big shots from mid range.

But both have the power to cause the other issues if they land regularly too.

I personally see Proksa being unable to keep up a good start. He has the speed to befuddle Golovkin early, but Golovkin has a tight guard when needed and will slowly but surely edge closer. Proksa tires pretty badly, and when he does he can't possibly fail to be stopped. See the Hope fight, Proksa can't win if he tires that bad, and I think he will tire because he doesn't have an economical style so no matter what training or improvements he makes he's always in trouble fighting 12.

Abraham in rounds 8-12 or points at 4/6 is the safest bet but just put loads on, once it goes past 8 you've basically won, as long as Stieglitz aint somehow winnin, might for the ko tho dont wanna put loads on

I think Chavez can get a decision over Martinez personally.

The judges will be pre-disposed to favour him, I think Serge is starting this fight needing a stoppage to win.

I don't think the gulf in class is as big as many like to think. Martinez for me has slipped a little bit, and will need to get off to a really good start in this one.

The bet for me is Chavez on points, either legitimate or not.

    Other bets....

    Leeds to beat Peterborough
Leeds to beat Warrington in the cup final (5/2) :yikes
    Yorkshire to win the T20

I can see where your coming from on the chavez/martinez fight and really wouldnt be all that suprised if it worked out that way.

But i think ppl are overrating chavez and underrating sergio abit. to me both are the same fighters they were a year ago, as i think chavez would've beat lee and rubio the same way then as he did now and sergio looked like he struggled with both macklin and barker but that was because A they are intelligent boxers ( chavez isnt ) who applied intelligent pressure making sergio come to them ( chavez wont) and B because martinez seems to fight poor in the bouts he's supposed to win but shines in the big fights

So i see this one going the same way as martinez/pavlik. Im going big on sergio by dec @ 6/5

I'm going with Chavez decision, Martinez takes too many rounds off, in the Pavlik fight he lost 3 rounds in a row & got knockdown

Chavez is gonna walk Sergio down & win via decision @3/1

Have to disagree with ya there tmsbry. chavez is just gonna walk onto sergio's shots all night. I was being generous when i said it will be like martinez/pavlik it could very well end up like pac/margo

bit of an odd tip for you guys. The other day on some radio show one of the people let slip that rylan was in her group and was her one to watch out for, he has just been on and had a **** audition but made it through, not sure if the bookies will know about the slip up but it basically sounds like he will be picked to go through to the final so if you can get a decent each way bet on him I reckon it's well worth a punt. Because his audition was **** I expect him to be at a huge price if they haven't heard about the slip up. Not like it was big news.
