Andre Ward vs Chad Dawson HBO 24/7

Well worth watching. It was great to see some new characters in this series and I particularly LOVE the way Virgil talks/what he says. He'd motivate me.

Nice to see some new guys showcased, neither one is a personality but they are both dedicated.  Probably the 2 most similar guys to be featured. Both are solid boxers, defensive guys, not KO punchers, humble quiet men, dedicated workers, and champions. Not particularly a fan of either guy but I respect both fighters, not sure who wins but we will get to guys focused and 100 percent ready im excited

On a good note Scully seems like he is focusing on taking the left hook away

i think Dawson will be able to take the left hook away or maybe even jab from the outside and make Ward pary for throwing the left hook

I think this fight will force Ward to use his right hand more and this was a punch from Ward that impresses me but i feel doesnt get the proper use

Id really like to see Ward use the right hand

should be a good one

Dawson will take away Wards strengths and he wont alloe him to be bullied by Ward either. The question will be if Dawson can keep his mind sharp and pull the trigger when Ward makes his mistakes. If he believe hes faster he'll have some great moments.

 

I promised myself a couple years ago I wouldn't pay for another PPV unless it was Mayweather vs. Pac...

I am kind of tempted here.

Why is HBO showing this ****? Ward and Dawson are two of the most boring fighters of the last 25 years of boxing.

Were are the guys who kept telling me HBO only puts on 'highly exciting' fighters?

This is the best chess match that can be made today in boxing between two prime fighters, a 170 catchweight would have been better though.

Is this the first time HBO did a 24/7 show for a Non-PPV event? It is as far as I can remember....they used to do Count Down shows for non-PPV's. :yep

I enjoy seeing Ice John Scully get some HBO air time, IMO he's one of the more under rated top men in boxing.....so it's cool Chad has him out there. :good


I like both fighters, but I believe (atleast as of now ) I'm gonna be pulling for Bad Chad. :yep
