Chavez sure seems confident about his Chin and it is untested. Martinez is going to **** him. Chavez has been coddled and is not ready for a fight like this. Like Martinez said it is his fault and nobody to blame but himself he should have stepped up over a year ago....

 

Loaded gloves, huh? Haha good one. Look at the tapes, and you will see chavez would always remove his gloves and wrapps in front of the camera. Hardly seems like he was trying to cheat

 

Actually, Martinez seems rehearsed, that is why he won the face off imo. His goal seems to be to scare chavez before the fight, but chavez seems relaxed and confident. It almost seems like chavez could care less about the prefight antics and is just ready to brawl.

 

Jr looks ******ed in comparison to the heavenly dimensions of Martinez's beautiful face.

 

I didn't see the part where JCCjr talks about fighting the whole round; I remember it in the preview, but it wasn't in this version.... strange.

 

I remember seeing it. It was after Chavez claimed Sergio's only good punch was a left to the body

 

I could have very well missed that; because I remember thinking right after that, that Sergio actually looked a little surprised he mentioned that. So my mind wasn't actually on it right then.. more into contemplating the body language there.

Did it mean JCCjr is smarter then Sergio gave him credit for? Thinking JCCjr wouldn't have a smart enough boxing mind to notice it

Did it mean JCCjr thought his best punch was the straight to the body, but Sergio feels that "isn't his best punch"? Maybe he was feeling his best was the one he dropped Williams with?

Did it make Sergio re-think how much he will use the straight left to the body?

 

They cut some stuff, but I thought from the preview Chavez won, but Martinez brutally destroys him in the battle of words and logic. Although Chavez statement that logic doesnt exist in boxing was interesting lol.

 

Chavez jr - "I am not relying on my weight to win the fight, it will be my boxing and intelligence"

Martinez - "So you are lost then"

Chavez jr - laughs (nervously) "You are the one who's lost"

Martinez - laughs (sexily)

Chavez jr - " You don't know me"

Everything Sergio said in this faceoff is the truth. He has the same outlook on JCC Jr as we do (boxing fans). We all know when Freddie's fighters are in trouble in the ring he goes on 'shutdown mode'. JCC Jr will walk foward head first trying to land that left hook on Sergio. He will try to use his weight to tire out Sergio. I see this fight going the way RJJ vs Ruiz did where Ruiz will be JCC Jr. Can't be touched - Sergio Martinez. Above all Sergio is a gd role model for youths like us.

 

When has developing a fighter been a crime? Julio fought bums, then raised his level of competition, and now he's fighting the middleweight king. Logical progression to me. lol

JR would have owned him if he had said Ward, Bute, Hopkins when Sergo claimed no one will fight him.
