I know this might be a silly thing to come out with but if hardly no one is backing Chavez to win against Martinez how does Barker and Macklin do against Chavez because they had a good fight against Martinez, Im not jumping on the Martinez ban wagon yet, talk is cheap in this game.

Macklin is a better fighter than Chavez.

Barker could also out point Chavez, if he had his perfect fight.

I thought at the start that Sergio is going to have to KO him and I don't think any different. Martinez has more fans than a normal fix victim but Arum's pockets are Marianas Trench-deep.

Reminiscient of Pacquaio v Margarito? I see that.

The comparison I can't stop thinking of is Haye v Chisora.

Watch the face off, JCC said "This *points to chin* is the best in the business". Martinez will be ****ing chuffed at this, of all the things JCC could've pointed out e.g. physique or body punching, he pointed out his chin.

JCC thinks he can't be knocked out, he's overconfident in his ability to take a shot so will be coming for Martinez with the same shambolic defense he has always had. Difference is this time he's fighting the hardest, most accurate, deceiving puncher he has ever faced.

Everyone can be knocked out, it only takes x amount of pressure to KO someone.

    Martinez in 6.

I love the comments over the past 9 months or so about "Martinez struggling against Macklin and Barker"

He took everything they had, only lost a few rounds in each, then knocked them out. At the end neither of them had anything left at all. Struggling? Not in my book.

This is more like Haye vs Chisora.

"Chavez, is not on Margarito's bad man level"..............nobody is!

i am puzzled why jr thinks his chin is the best in the business, he hasn't fought any top level ko artists

Martinez is making the bull angrier, it's going to be like a bull fight but the Matador is going to enjoy his time in the ring. Ole!!

Chavez Jr chin ain't even met a top level puncher as Pong says, We'll see how good it is when Martinez lands with regularity.

This fight is not a wrestling match, I understand size being important in some regards but we often get to caught up in how much someone weighs.

in fairness jr,s whole style is really based around his weight, get closer put his weight on someone and whack the body.but looking at his fights he doesn't really cut off the ring more follows people around the ring also he doesn't like taking body shots acts like AA

Agreed and Martinez punches hard enough to keep him respectable. The way some people go on you'd think he's gonna charge Martinez and rag him around. He's a big kid, his punches are strong and he's physical but Rubio and Lee aren't Martinez and it wasn't to long ago he was squeaking by Zbik.

Had to laugh when they said Zbik btw, Sounded like they was saying **** to each other.

I did like jr use of the lead hook against a southpaw and there was a nice piece of skill from him when he pivoted quickly and caught lee with a right straight in the mouth.he seems to want to fight like his da quite alot

2 years ago when fight first touted sergio easy. Now I think jr has a real chance, he has definitely improved in this time frame. Jr SD in a competitive fight.
