Oh, and there shouldn't have been any 10-8 rounds (nobody was ever that dominant without a knockdown) and scoring level is a lazy cop-out in most circumstances...but if you did for some reason have either of those extenuating circumstances and thus not arrive at a final score that fits in with any of the conventional poll options given, my apologies. Feel free to defend those choices here in the thread.

Whatever Bama had, I probably had it six points in the other direction.

I had it 116-112 for King Arta.

On my card Stieglitz took rounds 1, 9, 12 and one more somewhere I can't remember. Nearly all of the rounds were dead close - most of them which King Arta stole because of his harder, more effective punches.

115-114 Stieglitz, gave the 11th a 10-10 I think and had it even after 10. Could have gone either way but I felt 116-112 was a bit too generous to Abraham, especially considering he gave away round 12

115 113 for Abe. Gave him the 12th but I'm not sure he really deserved it. :think both were pretty worn by the end.

I had it a draw. 5-5 after the 10th- I think that was pretty clear, the 11th and 12th was were the dispute lies- I gave AA the 11th, as he landed some hard shots, and Stielglitz the 12th as AA spent the whole time on his bike.

115-113 AA, gave away rounds towards the end by not working but easily landed the more significant shots

Stieglitz 7-5, he outworked him going down the last 3 rounds.

    Surprisingly, really good.

Both guys fought outside their comfort zones.

Abraham started faster than usual, attacked pretty vigorously, and for long stretches actually boxed.

Stieglitz kept up a high volume, eventually running on fumes but never running, getting hit with flush shots but still trying to be the one coming forward.

I will let you know when I get caught up. I've had too much Internet trouble to even bother trying to track it down. I read through your RBR that night though. The comments made it out to be ODLH/Quartey, Froch/Kessler, JMM/Pac II style close from what I read.

As IB said, it was surprisingly better than expected with both guys taking and landing a fair few.

Same score here...and I did the same, and have been given **** for it by a couple of people. :conf

I remember during the twelfth thinking "Damn, Stieglitz is brave as hell!! Wow, he's going to get himself KTFO here, but he's sure giving those Berliners their money's worth!"

Active but ineffective, while Abraham was the opposite on both counts. One of "those" rounds.

Anyway, changing that round on our cards would mean a draw and a successful defense for Stieglitz with the 2-division honor eluding Abraham. Pretty significant, then. :think
