Dawson challenged him and said he could make 168.

Obviously the win would be better at 175.

With all due respect Johnson is just a tough mother ..I mean in the rematch he took care of him with ease ..Do we forget as to what he also did to Ademek and Dianoco ?Most of his fights have been on the road as well .When has he ever fought at home ?Chad is an exceptional boxer ..This fight will show that ..

Ward is going to whoop Dawson and it will mean very little. Dawson is just looking for the payday cause he knows he has nothing to lose.

ward is trying to dominate 168, he's not yet ready to move up in weight. But as his weight naturally gets accustomed, he will eventually move up. Dawson is just another guy in the division now that he's coming down.

If Bad Chad wants the 168 title hes winning it at 168. thats how titles are supossed to be won, in their respected wieght class. Bad Chad did it right.

Pac went for Cottos 147 title at 145... Fail
Pac went for the vacant 154 title vs Margo at 150.. Another Fail.

:patsch What a stupid post. You're trying to use an argument from another fight, let alone one that was bull**** to begin with, and apply it to another? Dawson himself said 168 was fine. If a win doesn't mean much to you, then go find another sport to be clueless about.

Utterly ridiculous. And thinking Dawson is going to this just for a payday suggests you're too cynical to properly look at things. Lets not act like Dawson is making a staggering amount more, therefore making his so called cash out make sense. It doesn't. Funny how you've already proclaimed Dawson drained weeks before they even fight. And despite what Dawson has said himself. But I'm sure you know more about the situation then the fighters.

I know I already made a thread higlighting the differences between this fight and Pac/ Cotto. I think it's pretty stupid to keep trying to compare them for two reasons:

    1. 168 isn't a catchweight. And
    2. Dawson's 175 title isn't on the line.

I'm tired of explaining that to you people. It's obvious you fell off the short yellow bus.

But in regards to Ward's team refusing 170:

    1. Both fighters acknowledge that negotioations for this fight went quickly without a hitch. AND

    2. I've lost count of how many time Dawson(and his team) have said that the weight won't be a problem.

Whether the weight DOES bother Dawson remains to be seen. The fact that Dawson and his team were happy with the negotioations and they've been lamenting about how easy it's going to be to make 168, makes anyone who says Ward refused 170(which is probably false anyway) a ******. And given the the facts, to act like Ward is some demanding premadonna is strawgrasping at best.

It's actually getting pretty pathetic... and tiresome.
