i decided not to score it and watched it for the entertainment and i got rewarded and enjoyed what turned out to be quite a good back and forth fight

I figured Arthur had won more rounds but that Stieglitz definitely won 11 and 12 and finished great

I'll probably revisit this fight some time and post a score to this thread

hopefully the next 3 HBO cards live up to this sort of action

11th round.. You think that Abraham did steal it with couple of flurrys in the end of the round? Abraham landed 2-3 hard shots but Stieglitz outworked and outlanded him for 2.30 minutes..

seeing it again Round 11 and 12 were both very close

11- Stieglitz lands 1 very good right through the guard and he did get through the guard flush at multiple times in the fight, I think he had better ring generalship but Abraham landed several hard shots could go either way

12- Stieglitz had better ring generalship i felt and controlled the ring but neither guy took the round by storm and let loose on the other guy most punches didnt connect, could go either way

both could conceivably go to Stieglitz

****, what the **** am I talking about? I now remember having Stieg up 2-1 after round 3. Yeah you're right, sorry! King Arta took the first, and then Stieg bagged 2 and 3.

Been corrected. Just remembered it was 2 and 3 that I gave to Stieg. Not 1. So that's 2, 3, 9 and 12 he took.

Maybe in comparison to Stieglitz he seemed to throw next to nothing, but boxing isn't scored on workrate alone.

The video is right here in this thread.

Please walk me through all the effective work Stieglitz did (using timestamps) that makes it so clear for him, when Abraham was playing it very close to the chest but hurting Stieglitz whenever he did deign to punch.

    115-113 Abraham.

I think the only rounds i scored differently to you were the 5th and 12th

Abraham didn't land a single punch in that round! Stieglitz was the aggressor and connected with solid shots. Abraham did NOTHING. 5.10 - 5.45, you don't give ANY credit? 5.16 hard right hand, 5.44 hard right hand. Those were good shots and werent only ones to get trough.. Abraham had 0 SECONDS effective work in that round. You think that when Abraham covers up against ropes he doesn't eat any punches?? 12th round 100-0 Stieglitz.

Did anyone else feel that in the middle rounds it seemed as though aa could have finished the fight had he stepped on the gas a bit? Stieglitz seemed very tired in rounds 6 and 7 and arthur landed some good flurries which hurt rs during this time, but it just seemed as though he was content to back off after these successes.

    Yep...
AA has a huge punch, but I always get the feeling he does lack killer instinct.

I don't understand German very well but Kissan who's German posted this in another thread. I also felt he could have finished it whenever he wanted, he really didn't respect Stieg's power at all and he could have bullied him even in the mid rounds when he got him in big troubles. He had a clear opportunity in the round 5 or 6 where Stieg's was badly hurt and there were like 40 or 50 seconds left but AA slowed it down and didn't finish him.

Also 11th & 12th are usually his rounds but he wasn't specially active saturday in those rounds.

At least he proved those haters wrong about whether he can win a fight against a decent boxer.

Some people's butt hurt still so much that they can give him any credit, though.

But yeah I reckon 12th was rather close. 11th is a clear AA round though and if you give it to Stieg then you can't score a round.
